Through millennia, yogis have been inspired and informed by the natural world in developing their yogic and contemplative practices. We’re honored to welcome Navraaz Kaur (Bini) Basati for this event! She's a Horticultural Therapy Intern, certified through the Chicago Botanic Garden. She's currently receiving her certification as a Nature Forest Therapy Guide through the American Nature Forest Therapy Association. Bini will lead a wonderfully meditative Forest Bathing experience as we immerse ourselves in the gorgeous landscape of the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. Learn more about Forest Bathing at this LINK.

The Forest Bathing will culminate in a tea ceremony and haiku-writing portion, led by Shabad Kaur Khalsa. Afterwards participants are welcome to enjoy a picnic lunch together in nature (each participant brings their lunch.)

All levels welcome!

What to Bring:
Good walking shoes
Water bottle
Sunscreen
Natural Insect repellant
Yoga mat or camping chair
Journal or notebook and pen
(Optional) Lunch in a cooler (we’ll come back to the cars before the picnic lunch)

$30, Register Online Here:

Participants are requested to purchase their own timed-entry ticket for the Morton Arboretum.
Please reserve the ticket for 10 am admission on 8/22 so you have time to travel up to the gathering spot within the grounds of the Arboretum. Text Shabad Kaur once you arrive if you need assistance in locating the group. 773-480-3273.
