CALL FOR SEWA: We need 10-20 volunteers to help feed the needy at the Salvation Army on Thanksgiving day. Thanksgiving is a traditional dinner in USA and it falls this year on Thursday, Nov 23.
History: The Sikh Community has been volunteering / sponsoring once a month meal from 1992 thru 2008 at Tom Seay Center. Tom Seay center was located at the crossing of Sunny Side and Broadway in Chicago. Tom Seay center was closed in 2008. Now Sikh Community resumed doing volunteer and partially sponsoring Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner since December 2014. Please lets continue serve at Salvation Army.
