Sahej Sukh Dhyan Meditation

Sahej Sukh Dhyan is a wonderful and powerful meditation (Pranayama). Bliss, happiness and comfort! What could be better? We practiced it together at Sikh Student Camp last summer and a group of Singhs and Kaurs came together each morning to do it before morning Japji Sahib. If you practice it,

it will give you a very calm mind and the ability to listen deeply and understand the root of any situation.

Try starting with 5 minutes and work up to 11 minutes. You can do it for as long as you like, but I suggest 11 minutes for 40 days.

Nirinjan Kaur sings "Sa Re Sa Sa" Live at Sat Nam Fest East 2012

Kabadshe Mantra is the meditation that opens the chakras for the full effect of any other mantra. It is a sensitizing meditation for the impact of the inner sound current. It is the base of all mantras. The original practice of mastery in mantra required that you master this before any other mantra practice. Anyone who practices this is granted prosperity, creativity and protection against attacks. It gives new power to your words. It brings good luck even if you are a scoundrel. (I chanted this for 8 months one time, because someone was making psychic attacks on me. Every day I did this mantra until she got mad at someone else. This was someone who practiced black magic. SAT NAM - Spoken (Biji - Seed Mantra)

Sat Naam

NOTE: This mantra is spelled exactly, in accordance with KRI's International Kundalini Yoga, Teacher Training, Textbook, Level One, Instructor; Copyright 1969-2005.

Translation: It is the Seed Mantra or Biji Mantra and it is the most widely used mantra in the practice of Kundalini Yoga.

Sat means the Truth;

Nam means to call upon, name or identify with.

Sat Nam means Truth is my identity and I call upon the eternal Truth that resides in all of us. It is pronounced to rhyme with "But Mom!"

Chanting this mantra awakens the Soul, and more simply means "reality".

"Biji" or seed mantras use universal sound currents to rearrange the habit patterns of the mind.

pg 158 in- BOOK: Kundalini Yoga by Shakta Kaur Khalsa

This is a mantra where you inhale Sat and exhale Nam and I did this in the ER one time when waiting for help. I think they forgot I was there. It took them a long time to come back to me. I just inhaled Sat and exhaled Nam.

Turiya State is one of 4 states of Mind, Awake, Sleep, Dream, and "Turiya" - which is a state of super-consciousness beyond "three dimensional" wakefulness, and dreaming. Like "vivid dreaming," Turiya is a state of Samadhi. ~ Krishna Singh
