Japji Sahib - Salok - for Respect
The idea that air is the teacher, the pathway from darkness to light, reminds us to reconnect with our breath which is our only link to the present moment. But thoughts are inherently reactions. By shifting our awareness to the breath, we linger in the present moment. This following page tells more about the Salok of Japji.

This is a great CD for learning the Banis in Gurmukhi (includes Japji Sahib). The Sikh Youth Federation of North America has done a beautiful job putting together this CD.
The CD is set up so you can listen to one portion of the bani and repeat it to hear it again. This way you are able to hear a section again and again if you want to. The Banis are also recited slower than on other CDs so the pronunciation is very clear.
